It’s the true-love story that forewent earth’s creation and it tells the tale of how God so longed to pour His love into a being that would be His child, His friend and His soul mate, that He simply had no choice BUT to make you and me.
Every word ever written with the intent to reveal God to mankind has its origin in this, initial story of God’s uncontainable love. It’s the reason for everything He made and everything He does… Love was His quest, His reason, His driving force.
God’s love for us is the most important story ever written. And it’s not just the central theme of the Bible but also the axis around which His entire creation spins. All the beauty you see around you testify of His love. May your eyes be open to His love letters as they dangle from the sky at sunset, smile at you from the gardens you pass along the way to work or meet you in the eyes of a loved one in your deepest sorrow.

For me, Bread-crumbs began as a hunger to wear my heart on my sleeve and to be reminded of God’s promises in a practical way throughout the day – whether I’m sipping a cup of coffee at work, rushing dinner into the oven or dragging myself out of bed. The initial seeds grew into a dream to bring God’s Word to life – literally! The Bread-crumbs goodies are designed to flood the world with His Word by taking it to the streets, your kitchen, classroom, man-cave or wherever it is that you hang out… I think the world’s ready to see the Bible beyond the ball ‘n chain label that’s often stuck to it and to know it as the liberating, way-making, answer-giving, life-changing love letter it was meant to be. At Bread-crumbs, having fun is always on the menu and while hefty, life and death issues are tackled, it’s done in a light-hearted, witty kind of way. The Bread-crumbs mission is to use Little pieces of Living Word to spread the truth about God’s love, His promises, healing and salvation. But it’s as much about reminding ourselves of the powerful, trustworthy God we serve while we go about our days, as the opportunity of reaching others. Our Christian gifts, goodies & garments come part and parcel with the story that inspired its creation. So every item is an opportunity to testify, to minister and teach.
